# A social media tool for agencies is not a creator app

2026-08-26 · 6 min read

Agencies need business accounts, several connected profiles, named teammates, and reporting the client can understand. A scheduler built for one influencer’s personal Instagram will not survive the first retainer. PropFlow is aimed at businesses, agencies, and professional teams: Pages, Professional Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, AI comments, and WhatsApp Business API.

## What agencies actually buy

- **Account slots** — how many Facebook Pages, Instagram Professional accounts, TikTok, and YouTube channels you can connect. This is a plan limit, not “unlimited until we notice.”
- **Daily posts** — a cap per workspace so a junior cannot dump 40 Reels overnight on the wrong client.
- **Team seats** — people with their own logins. When someone leaves, you revoke a seat; you do not change a shared password in a spreadsheet.
- **Inbox, not a phone** — WhatsApp and comment queues must live in the company dashboard so chats are not on an intern’s SIM.
- **Analytics** — one view of views, likes, and engagement instead of four native apps in the monthly PDF.

## Business accounts only

Meta’s APIs do not let a vendor post as a personal profile. If a client still runs a private Instagram, convert it to Professional and attach a Facebook Page before you promise Reels in the contract. PropFlow will refuse personal profiles; that is a platform rule, not a missing feature.

## Roles beat hero culture

The person who edits video should not be the only one who can publish, and the person who handles WhatsApp should not hold the TikTok password. Role-based access (plan-dependent team size) is how you keep client assets when staff rotate. Companion mobile apps exist for registered accounts; billing stays on the web so a designer on iOS cannot change the client’s plan by accident.

## WhatsApp is part of the retainer in MENA and Turkey

If your clients close deals on WhatsApp, a scheduler-only stack forces a second product. PropFlow’s Hub (inbox, templates, campaigns, contacts) sits beside publishing. That only works after the client has a dedicated API number — see [App vs API](/guides/whatsapp-business-api-vs-app).

Start on the free plan to test the pipeline, then move to Starter, Pro, or a higher published plan as accounts, AI words, and seats grow. The public monthly range is Free through $100. Confirm live prices on [pricing](/pricing).

## How to evaluate PropFlow against a “big” scheduler

Ask four questions: official APIs or unofficial bots; comments and WhatsApp in the same login; Arabic and Turkish UI; agency seats. PropFlow is not a 30-network enterprise suite. It is a focused stack for Meta + TikTok + YouTube + WhatsApp with AI captions and comment assistance. If a prospect needs LinkedIn-only thought leadership, this is the wrong tool. If they need Reels, Shorts, TikTok, comment SLA, and WhatsApp in one place, it is the right shape.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Can an agency manage several client Instagram accounts in PropFlow?

Yes, within the connected-account limit of your plan. Each Instagram account must be Professional and linked to a Facebook Page. Personal profiles are not supported.

### Do teammates share one login?

No. Use team seats on the plan. Sharing a founder password mixes audit trails and breaks when someone leaves. Role-based access keeps publishing and inbox work on company-owned accounts.

### Is PropFlow only a scheduler?

No. It schedules Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, adds AI captions and comment management, and includes a WhatsApp Business Hub for inbox, templates, campaigns, and contacts. Analytics sit in the same dashboard.
